Preparing for Legislative Advocacy

All MASE Members are encouraged to engage early and often with local legislators and participate in MASE Week at the Capitol event by meeting with your legislators in small groups, pairs, or individually!  The resources below are designed to aid in these important advocacy efforts! 

Step 1: Identify the Legislators Representing Your District(s)

Check your MASE in your mailbox for information on a new tool called Ignite Advocacy. You can also click below.

Step 2: Introduce Yourself to Your Legislators!

Option B: Request Scheduling Assistance from your MASE Area Representative

Your MASE Area Representatives will provide assistance to members seeking a small group or partner for their meetings.

Step 5: Hold Meetings With Legislators as Scheduled

Identify yourself as a member of MASE by adding the MASE Logo to your virtual meeting platform background. 

Utilize the MASE at the Capitol Meeting Guide during your meetings to help you share your story. 

Step 6: Position Yourself to Respond to Action Alerts to MN Legislators via the CASE Action Alert...STAY ENGAGED!
